Discussion groups

We would value your opinion on various aspects of ageing

We are interested in gathering people’s views on aspects of well-being, attitudes towards ageing (their own and how society views older people), and what they feel constitutes a healthy relationship.

To help us with this we are looking for people who would be interested in taking part in a small group discussion, looking at a range of topics such as attitudes to ageing; how older people are portrayed on TV and in film; the myths around older people; disability and older people and whether it is more difficult to ask for help as you get older.

Dewis Choice would like to invite people, of any age, to tell us what they want and value in their relationships with their wider family members – not just their partners or spouses.

We would like your help in gathering information to champion the cause of the older generation with our project on increasing choices for people in difficult family circumstances.

You could share your views either individually or as part of a group.

If you would like further information please download the information sheet using the link below and contact the project on 01970 622516, or email choice@aber.ac.uk
